Shiver By: Maggie Stiefvater

OK soooooo i have heard a lot about this book so of course i had to read it! Everyone said it was just amazing and wonderful! did i feel this way about it?? not necessarily.... it was a good book but i was expecting a lot more from it. I wasn't as hooked as other people told me they were....But i did love it! i have to say it probably does make my top books list but i just think it's a little over rated.
This book is about a 17 year old girl named Grace who had a fascination with the wolves in her back yard. I'm not going to say the whole story because i don't feel like typing that much but Grace falls in love with one of the wolves named Sam. The wolves change into humans in the summer time but after a few years they stop changing into humans and stay a wolf forever. So that's pretty much the problem.... Summer is over and it's his last year as a human so they're basically trying to find a way to make Sam stay human. In a way it's kind of like Twilight but honestly.. i think i liked it better. It was more realistic.... i mean werewolves are never realistic but their love story is more believable. In twilight, Edward is just like the perfect guy that will probably never exist but Sam could actually exist. Not the wolf part but his human self. So over all this book was good and it's a pretty good read. Sooo i suggest you get out and by it! BTW i just got the second one "Linger" it just came out so i'm excited to see what happens next! Peace out people =)

Specials By Scott Westerfeld

OK this review again contains spoilers, if you don't want to know then don't read. This is a HUGE warning.... theres some really big things that you might not want to know about this book sooo.... last warning before i start. ok are you sure...??? alright then here we go.

Alright to sum up this book in one world would be.... WOW!! and not in a good or bad way... just WOW.. like i just can't believe it still even though i read this book like in March......and i'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened. ok first of all Tally as a special..? HATED IT! i didn't like her as a special at all. At first i kind of did like the whole mission thing but after a while i was kind of ready for her to go back to normal. I also didn't like Shay in this one.. she's never been my favorite character but this time i was sure i didn't like her. towards the end i did like because she was normal again but until then it was like please go away shay. Alright.. i'm not gonna lie... this book did make me cry. it took me a minute to process what happened but .... dang i was in tears. I'm not going to say the big spoiler i was planning on saying because i don't want to ruin it for anybody. it's really huge and it made me cry sooo just telling you it was sad and it's something you don't even think would happen. i mean you consider it but you think it will actually happen... but it does so that sucks. Anyway it was a good book, but i guess i didn't really like the ending. it's the last book he has for those characters so i kinda hated the way it ends. I don't think it was a horrible book at all.. because it was great but if i were him i probably wouldn't have ended it in that way. It was a sort of happy ending but not really..... anywho i haven't read the next book "Extras" yet. there are different characters and i just haven't gotten around to it. but when i do i'll definitely write a review.. ok toodles.

Pretties By Scott Westerfeld

This review contains some spoilers so if you don't want to know then don't read:

OK, so i haven't updated this blog in like forever. I don't know if anyone is reading this blog at all but who cares i'll write it anyway and if people are viewing the YAY you ROCK!! lol ok with that said i will talk about "Pretties" By Scott Westerfeld. Well, first off, this was a great book! i think it was a great way to follow up "Uglies". In this book Tally turns into a Pretty and at first i was afraid that i wouldn't like her as a pretty but it wasn't that bad. I was glad he added new characters... especially Zane <3 he was like my fav character throughout the whole book. i also loved the crims.. yeah. i haven't read this book since like February so i'm really trying to remember lol. dang this is hard... haha. anyway the bottom line is that this book is pretty good. some of the things i didn't like were probably when Peris made her miss her jump and she ended up in the woods with Andrew.... yeah i didn't really like Andrew because i was sooo ready for her to hurry up and get back to Zane especially when he told her that he loved her... <3 that was probably my fave part. And then in the end he ends up getting brain damage.. WTF!?! that part i'll have to say made me alittle mad. ok so that's is for this book.... go get it!

Uglies By Scott Westerfeld!

OK i LOVED this book! it was ah-mazing! It took you on an epic adventure into a whole other world, which i loved.. It was the first book in the series and i can tell you right now.. i'm definatly going to be reading the rest of them. OK so i'm not gonna expain what the whole book is about but i'll tell you what i thought.

First. i think the whole story line was genius... lol. It took me a while to get into the story and understand what they were talking about. At first i thought if you turned pretty that you got like special powers or something...? yeah.. lol. But then i realized that they were talking about their appearance. But i think this book sends a great message to people about like... loving who you are and not thinking you're ugly just because the media or whoever said that you are. And i also think that it showed how much we are hurting the planet because they were saying that the "Rusties" had almost ruined the planet with out gas and all that stuff.. So like i said this book rocks and you should go get it..!...NOW! lol :)

Hello..!

Well, i'm new to this whole blogging thing. I just finished reading an awesome book and i really wanted someone to talk about it with but no one else i know has read it and everyone i tried to talk to was just like.. It's all about books soo if you love to read then i will be recommending many books and also sharing my opinions about the books that i read.
